Oktoberfest is a cultural festival that takes place in Germany each October. In Vietnam, the festival has been held annually in recent years and has drawn the attention of Germans and other Westerners living and working in Vietnam.
Lion Brewery and Restaurant will be one of venues celebratng the festival starting at 6 p.m. on October 3. Revelers can get their fill of fine German draft beer and indulge in a jubilant atmosphere of music and dance shows, and especially, beer drinking and sausage eating contests.
Guests will be given a beer mug with a Lion Restaurant logo when joining Oktoberfest 2009 at the restaurant. Tickets are VND540,000 per guest.
From September 28 to October 4, the restaurant will feature “Lion-German Week†which offers a 10% discount on beer.
The festival will be a chance for German beer enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for the amber magic.
Located in the center of HCMC near the Opera House, the Lion is famous for its German beer brewed on site and its capacity to accommodate groups of up to 500 for the most demanding international events such as meetings, conferences, seminars, receptions, training sessions, briefings, cocktail parties and anniversary celebrations.
