If anyone loves hunting clouds, try going to Que Peak, one of the most grandiose mountains in Vietnam.

Que Peak

Que Peak is located on the Annamite Range, at a height of 1,400 metres above sea level. It belongs to Voong hamlet, Tr’hy commune, Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province.

Besides its natural beauties, the peak is also well-known for its cloud cover all year round.

Standing at the peak, visitors seem to feel like putting their feet in the heavens, with a fresh, cool atmosphere, a blue sky, and clouds covering their feet. However, it is advised that the best time to go to Que Peak is between October and February.

It is considered the most beautiful and attractive mountain peak in Quang Nam thanks to the large primaeval forest around it.

Contemplating the sunrise or sunset at Que Peak is also a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Tay Giang is home to Co Tu ethnic minorities. Going to Tay Giang, visitors have chances to learn about the local cultural values and daily lives inside Guol, Dai, and Mool houses.

Co Tu village

Co Tu people are simple, hospitable, and warm-hearted. When visiting Tay Giang on the occasion of festivals, visitors may enjoy the Co Tu people’s traditional songs and dances.

At the same time, it is a good time for visitors to enjoy local specialties, such as wine drunk out of the jar through pipes (rượu cần), rice cooked inside bamboo tubes (cơm lam), grilled chicken, croissants, zơ-rá (vegetables and meat cooked in bamboo tubes), and lawn worms.
