On November 24, a cultural week titled “Flavours of Ha Noi” officially kicked off at Noi Bai International Airport to introduce the unique cultural characteristics of the capital city to visitors.

Upon addressing the event, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, deputy director of Noi Bai International Airport, emphasised that these unique cultural features will add great value to the transport hub whilst impressing passengers from various countries.

Simultaneously, the event will also contribute to honouring the country’s intangible cultural values whilst heightening national pride, Ngan noted.

There are typical check-in points that create unique cultural highlights of a miniature Hanoi, including the poetic corner of Phan Dinh Phung Street, the ancient Quan Chuong Gate, flower baskets, flower bicycles, a pot of hot tea on the winter street corner, images of familiar village bamboo baskets, and a photo exhibition of Ha Noi.

Furthermore, artisans from traditional craft villages will perform and provide passengers with experiences in making turtles, embroidering paintings, making hats and pottery, along with folk music performances, which run from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day.

The cultural week is set to last until November 30.
