To date 36 art troupes from 26 countries and territories have registered to participate in Hue Festival 2012, according to organisers.
France continues to be an important partner in the organisation of this year’s Hue festival, which starts in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on April 7 and runs for a week, an official has said.
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has launched a website in several languages aimed at promoting multiple activities that will take place in the province as part of National Tourism Year 2012.
The opening ceremony of Hue Festival 2012 will be held on April 7th 2012, with 40 international fine art delegations are scheduled to take part in the event.
The third Ben Tre Coconut Festival, themed “Ben Tre on the way of integration and development†will be held from April 4th to 9th, 2012.
Saigontourist introduces My Homeland Festival at Van Thanh Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh District from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on February 10, 11 and 12. This year’s festival has craft villages, countryside markets and music shows together with food booths set up in each region.

In 2012, the National Tourism Year is held in Thua Thien - Hue Province and Northern Central Coastal provinces with the name “National Tourism Year Northern Central Coastal Area - Hue 2012†and the theme "Heritage Tourism".
