The Ha Noi Railway Corporation will reduce fares by up to 15 percent on North-South train this summer to attract more travellers to long-range train travel.
Accordingly, trains departing from northern stations, such as Ha Noi and Dong Le, for southern destinations, including Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, will see tickets prices reduced by 2 percent to 15 percent.
The discounted fares went into effect on May 22 and will continue until September 5.
Additionally, Viet Nam Railway Corporation announced a 10 percent discount promotion for all students participating in the upcoming high graduation examination, along with accompanying family members.
With each exam invitation notice, students will be able to purchase discounted return tickets.
