Rach Gia Airport to reopen in mid-December

The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) announced on December 10th that it expected to reopen Rach Gia Airport in the southern province of Kien Giang from December 16th.

The CAAV asked the Airports Corporation of Viet Nam to complete procedures to report to the authority to give nods for the reopening.

Rach Gia Airport was closed on October 15th for runway repairs. The project, capitalized with VND50 billion, is expected to be completed on December 15th.
