From January 23 to February 9 (the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month to the 10th day of the first lunar month), the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is coordinating with several localities to organize activities to welcome the Year of the Horse 2014 at the museum.
The first activity is to build ritual trees, worship the Kitchen God and organize cheerful activities at the Viet house at the museum on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month.
On the occasion of the new year, with the cooperation with the central Ha Tinh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the museum will bring central cultural colours and folklore cultural activities to people in the capital. There will be folk art performances, folk games and gastronomy festival.
