Vietnam Airlines increases flights during National Day

The Vietnam National Flag Carrier (Vietnam Airlines) on August 27 announces its plan to increase the number of flights during this year's National Day to meet the increased travel demand.

Between August 30 - September 4, the carrier will provide more flights on 11 "hottest" air routes including Hanoi, HCMC - Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat; Hanoi - Vinh, Dong Hoi; Da Nang - Hai Phong and HCMC - Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Quoc. The busiest air routes are Hanoi - Da Nang, Ha Noi - Nha Trang and HCMC - Nha Trang.

 

Following that, the number of seats are expected to reach 84,000 (include normal and peak period), a 12% percent of increase compared with normal schedule and up 6 percent from the same period last year.

 

The carrier hopes to solve the overload situation which often occurs in the National Day holidays, bringing a fully enjoying time for passengers.
