New food programs at Majestic, Saigon Ship and Liberty Central

Some hotels and restaurants under management of Saigontourist offer some new food programs.

The Majestic Hotel Saigon will host the ‘Southeast Asian food week’ with buffet programs featuring typical specialties of Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. The program will be prepared at the Cyclo Restaurant from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from now to August 21. Tickets are priced at VND499,000 per adult and VND299,000 per child, inclusive of soft drinks, mineral water and a bug of draught beer or cocktail.

As part of the program, guests will not only have a chance to enjoy Mee Rebus Malaysia, Chilli Crab of Singapore, Thai noodles, Tomyamkung hotpot, Gado Gado Indonesia, Sini Gang Philippines but also can enjoy ethnic music shows and kids can make sand paintings.

From August, the Liberty Central Hotel has introduced new food programs with attractive promotions. The food program will serve diners typical dishes of three regions of South, Central and the North of Vietnam from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. everyday at the Central Restaurant in the hotel’s first floor. The hotel also offers Western dishes alacarte in cozy ambiance with candle lights and piano performances. Buffet cruise on Saigon River on Saigon Ship Restaurant at the third gate in Bach Dang Wharf in HCMC’s District 1, tel: 08 3823 0393. The program with more than 48 selected dishes will be prepared in Saigon Ship Restaurant from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on September 2 and every Sunday there after. The ship will depart at 11:30 a.m. from Bach Dang Wharf to Thanh Da Peninsula. Parties will be accompanied with entertainment programs such as karaoke, coloring statues, making sandy paintings and music shows by Vietnamese bands. Tickets are priced at VND190,000 per adult and VND120,000 per child. Groups of up 20 members will be given one free bottle of French wine and those who purchase 10 tickets will get one free. At night, the program will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and depart from Bach Dang Wharf to Ben Nghe Port then back to Bach Dang. The ship’s first and second floors will serve Vietnamese and Chinese food and rock along with live music shows.

The third floor is dedicated to serving Western food. It has a bar, flute, guitar and juggling performances.
