(TITC) - Yen Tu Cherry Blossom and Yellow Apricot Flower Festival 2018 will take place from 24 to 28 March 2018 at Truc Lam Yen Tu Culture Centre belonging to Yen Tu Special National Relic, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province. This is one of the important events in responding to Visit Viet Nam Year 2018 – Ha Long – Quang Ninh.

This year’s festival will include many unique activities such as: opening ceremony with the program of Viet Nam – Japan culture and art exchange; exhibition on cherry blossoms and yellow apricot flowers, booths of tourist accommodation establishments, tour operators, tourism enterprises, etc. Besides, there are also culture exchange programs, folk games; visits to Yen Tu Relic and some tourist sites in Uong Bi City.
At the festival, more than 50 cherry blossom trees imported from Japan and 100 yellow apricot trees chosen from yellow apricot growing cooperatives in Dong Trieu Town and Uong Bi City will be presented to visitors.
With the theme “Cooperation and development - Destination of success”, Yen Tu Cherry Blossom and Yellow Apricot Flower Festival 2018 is expected to be an attractive event for domestic and foreign visitors, contribute to promoting the diplomatic relations between Quang Ninh Province and Japanese localities, agencies and organizations.
