An exhibition on Ha Noi 2017 will open at Ho Guom Culture Information Centre at No.2 Le Thai To street, Hoan Kiem district, as part of a series of cultural activities to welcome New Year 2018 at Hoan Kiem lake pedestrian area.
Sketches on Ha Noi
Accordingly, 160 sketches on Ha Noi by Urban Sketchers Ha Noi (USK Ha Noi) will be displayed.
At the same time, USK Ha Noi will make public special products, contributing to popularizing Ha Noi urban culture such as art books, silk crafts and T-shirts printed with outstanding works by USK Ha Noi members.
USK Ha Noi is a group of lovers for Ha Noi, that love the beauty and want to preserve urban cultural values with sketches. Its activity is not only studying culture, history and architecture of urban works, but also professional work of architectures, designers and painters.
The group painted and recorded ancient works which are being broken down because of urbanization in Viet Nam; painted and recorded cultural decorations which have no opportunity to produce and to be known. Members also contribute to connecting community and improving people’s awareness of urban values, especially Ha Noi, with long-standing and specific culture.
The exhibition will run until January 5th, 2018.
