Viet Nam participates the leading world travel market WTM 2017

(TITC) – On 6th November, World Travel Markets WTM, the leading global event for travel industry  opened in London (UK).

The delegation of Viet Nam led by Chairman of VNAT Nguyen Van Tuan had the attendance of Ha Noi Promotion Agency, Vietnam Airlines, Tourism Advisory Board (TAB), departments of tourism of Quang Binh and Thua Thien–Hue provinces, Viet Nam Tourism Association, tourism enterprises, press agencies and Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre.

With the area of 252m², Viet Nam booth, built in the shape of One Pillar Pagoda – the symbol of Ha Noi Capital attracted a great number of visitors.

On 7th November, VNAT organized a press conference to provide information of new policies, airline services, tourism products and services to British and European media agencies and visitors.

The press was highly appreciated by the attendance of British explorer Howard Limbert, who discovered Phong Nha cave in 2009 and American film director Jordan Vogt-Roberts – Viet Nam Tourism Ambassador.

Being a safe and friendly country, Viet Nam has become an attractive destination in the world with impressive growth of tourism arrivals. In the past 10 months of 2017, there were 10,473,230 international visitors traveling to Viet Nam,  increasing 28% over the same period last year.
