World Cultural festival 2017 to take place in Ho Chi Minh City

(TITC) – The World Cultural festival 2017 co-hosted by Ho Chi Minh City and Gyeongju City (Republic of Korea) is scheduled to take place from November 9 to December 3, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City is well-known as a one of the most developed and busiest cities of Viet Nam

The festival aims to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam - Republic of Korea and the Asia – Pacific Economy Cooperation (APEC) Forum 2017 to hold in Viet Nam.

A series of activities will be organized in the framework of the festival such as cultural exchange program, art performance, photo exhibition, cuisine introduction, fashion show, tourism and trade investment promotion, etc.

Gyeongju is a coastal city of Gyeongsangkuk-do Province where many Korean world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO and cultural traditions are being preserved. Also, Ho Chi Minh City is well-known as a one of the most developed and busiest cities of Viet Nam which attracts a crowd of domestic and international tourists.

The World Cultural festival 2017 will be co-hosted by Ho Chi Minh City and Gyeongju City (Republic of Korea)

The co-organization of the World Cultural Festival 2017 helps strengthen cooperation between the two sides. It is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to promote city’s image, culture to Korean visitors in particular and international visitors in general.

In September 2016, in Gyeongju City, Ho Chi Minh City and Gyeongsangkuk-do Province signed a memorandum of understanding on the co-organiztion of the World Cultural Festival 2017.
